Let’s raise funds as a community
The VMA is supported by a combination of state and federal government funding, community donations, and corporate sponsorships. The estimated cost for the
museum’s project is $20 million.
Funding sources:
- The Australian Federal Government has committed $9.7 million towards the project
- The Victorian State Government has allocated $8.57 million in funding
- The remaining will be raised through community, corporate, and philanthropic
donations.
The funding for the Vietnamese Museum Australia reflects a collaborative effort between government bodies, the community, and private entities. This financialbacking underscores the importance of the museum in preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage of Vietnamese Australians.
