Donors donate to the Public Ancillary Fund (Museum Trust). The Museum Trust has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. A Public Ancillary Fund is a form of charitable trust established solely for the purpose of providing money, property or benefits to (and for the establishment of) deductible gift entities that are not ancillary funds. It must have a company as trustee and is governed by detailed regulations.
Vietnamese Museum Holding Ltd (ACN 633 503 778) – Trustee of the Public Ancillary Fund Established on 16 May 2019. A public company limited by guarantee. VCA Vic is the sole member, but has no proprietary interest. Liability of the member is limited to the amount of the guarantee ($100). Governed by its Constitution, and controlled by the Board of Directors.
